1. What will I learn in Gardening 101?Gardening 101 covers all basics of gardening, including soil preparation, planting techniques, pest control, and sustainable practices to grow your own food.

2. Do I need prior gardening experience to join?No prior experience is necessary! This class is designed for beginners as well as those looking to refresh their skills.

3. What would I need to wear/bring to class?We recommend wearing comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bringing gardening gloves if you already have a pair. Most tools and supplies will be provided in class, but we'll let you know in advance if there are any personal items you might need to bring.

4. Where is this class held?Class will be held in the West End neighborhood, just east of the Delmar Loop. The exact address will be provided upon enrollment and final payment.

5. Why is the $100 deposit non-refundable?The deposit secures your spot in the class and helps us cover administrative and preparatory costs. We strive to make Gardening 101 as enjoyable as possible for every participant and that process begins as soon as your deposit is paid.

6. Can I pay the remaining tuition balance in installments?Yes, we can offer installment plans. Please contact us for details.

7. What happens if I need to cancel after paying the deposit?While the deposit is non-refundable, please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss potential options, such as transferring your spot to another person.

8. What if I have to miss a class?We encourage consistent attendance to get the most out of the program, but we certainly understand that life happens. If you miss a class, we’ll provide a summary of key points and materials covered.

9. Can I join the class after it has already started?Unfortunately, we cannot accept late enrollments due to the sequential nature of the lessons.

10. Is this class suitable for children?Gardening 101 is designed for adult women, but older teens may find it engaging.

11. What happens in case of bad weather?Classes may be rescheduled or moved indoors. We’ll notify participants of any changes.

12. Can I bring a friend of family member with me to observe?Each enrollment is for one participant. If someone else is interested in attending, they’ll need to register separately. Additionally, we kindly ask that you arrange for childcare while you're in class. This will allow participants to focus fully on learning and practicing the skills being taught without distractions.

13. What is the refund policy for the remaining tuition balance?If you cancel before the first class, we can refund the remaining balance (excluding the deposit). After the course starts, refunds are not available.

14. Is parking available at the class location?Yes, parking is available on-site. We’ll send detailed directions before the first session.

15. Can I join if I have allergies to plants or insects?While we strive to create a safe environment, the hands-on nature of this course may expose participants to allergens. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

16. What if I’ve never been able to keep plants alive?Don’t worry! This class is designed to help everyone, including self-proclaimed “plant killers,” gain confidence and skills in gardening.

17. Will there be breaks during class?Yes, each session includes a short break for refreshments and informal discussion.

18. How many people will be in each class?Class sizes are kept small, no more than 10 participants, to ensure personalized attention and hands-on learning.

19. Can I take photos or record videos during the sessions?Yes, you’re welcome to take photos for personal use. However, video recording is not permitted without prior approval.

20. Can I suggest additional topics to cover during the course?We welcome feedback and will do our best to incorporate participant interests into the class.
